brass catcher

Anybody ever made himself a pistol brass catcher for semi-auto pistols to recuperate your brass ?

Just kidding. I like to crawl around for at least an hour after shooting.

I made one from burlap sacking material purchased at the local Co-op. Stapled the top end to a hockey stick that fitted behind & above my head into the shooting stand and weighted the bottom with flat rock on the shooting bench. Works pretty well, but the odd case still escapes. Looking for suggestions to improve my design. The screen between the shooting stands on my right deflects most of the brass to ground behing me without the catcher. The burlap has enough 'give" to cushion the brass.

Yes I made one out of poly pipe from a diagram of same. Forget what site it was on. Do a google search (Brass Catcher) and it should come up. I used some old mosquito netting. Thing works great when I use it.
