Brass Cleaner

My suggestion for an ultrasonic unit would be ebay item 130004514468, the seller has other units but this has my vote. A friend who tried a smaller jewelry type said a larger capacity with around 60 watts of power would be much better & effective.
There is an excellent article on ultrasonic cleaning at www.6mmbr.com/ultrasonic.html.
Plans for a homemade tumbler can be found at www.eohc.ca/reloading.asp and see the 13th link at the bottom of that page.
Hope this is helpful; kfn

I sometimes use Nu Car finish, liquid Turtle Wax, etc. All seem to do about the same thing.

A used static/cling remover (Bounce?) holds down the dust.

Case cleaning

Sorry did not see your most recent post - I use a 10 second spray of Gelgloss Fibre glass shower cleaner made by TR industries [stack GA - 12]. Other posts suggest that any metal or fibre glass polish will work equally well. Experiment some and see what happens then report to the troops.....

Well this has been a wealth of information. I decided to try some stuff. I have now gone to putting VIM in my media for polishing. It works great and the casings come out clean and shiny. the paper towel thing in the tumbler works good too. Next is to buy an ultrasonic cleaner.

Thanks to all who shared the information. :)
