Brass Deflector for Mini 14

What options are there available in Canada for a Mini 14 scope mount that has a built in brass deflector?

what are you guys using on your scoped Mini 14?

Many guys have drapped a rag over the scope, it's just enough to slow the brass down. I changed the gas port and put a heavier spring. Still throws them, but at least the brass is not beat up.

I went to smaller gas port cylinders, now it only sends the brass 10' instead of 30. Mines a Ranch model so ejects to the side instead of up like the regular Mini's. Lots of info here http://perfectunion.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=86

TC-Accessories Inc. makes a brass deflector that attaches to a picatinny rail. Weigand Combat Handguns Inc. makes a picatinny rail. Each are available from Brownells.

I recommend an UltiMak scout mount.
