Ok, I noticed something...I purchased 200 used (once fired seller claims) .223 brass. Of the 200 I resized full length, 30 of them really dragged in the die at the primer end of the case. No matter how much lube, or spinning the case in the die, it dragged. Some more than others. I've set them aside for now.
Is that an indication the cases are bulged? Maybe fired from a gun with a larger worn chamber? You can see on the cases the *polished smooth* sides about a 1/4" from the end of the case. And the way the shell sits in the holder and the fact that the die doesn't get ALL the way to the rim of the case makes me wonder if it will be a tight fit into my guns chamber.
Are they ok to use in a bolt gun? I haven't tried them in my Remington to see if the bolt is hard to close.
Oh, BTW...using Lee RGB dies.
