Made a brass marking jig in fusion 360, sharpie goes in the end and locks with a 1/4-20 thumb screw. Insert brass and twist. Ill post the file in thingiverse. I looked and couldn't find one so made a quick drawing. Feel free to make it better but work ok as is.
