There is and has been several CGN posts and threads with varying experience about cartridge brass brands and quality. I suspect that some "brands" may have changed suppliers or actual makers, at some time or other, or from time-to-time.

I apparently have a EE purchase on the way - including several bags of what appears to be factory new "RUAG AMMOTEC USA, LTD" brand brass. I looked on Internet and got as far as that being the name of a Swiss Company involved in aerospace stuff - might have been the wrong RUAG that I was looking at.

Any knowledge or insight about this brand of brass?? Made by whom? Quality? If it matters it appears to use Large Rifle sized primers, and is for 7.62x39 cartridge. Hopefully, I will have them in hand some time soon, but for now I am just curious - I had not heard of that brand before.

To "close the loop" on this - the stuff is received here. The three bags are most definitely labeled "RUAG AMMOTEC USA, INC." Two of the three bags appear to be sealed with sticky ties. Through the plastic bag, the actual brass appears head stamped as "MFS 7.62x39". About 10 seconds on Internet suggests "MFS" brass is made in Hungary. I have no clue who owns "MFS" now or who used to own it. The brass will be as good as it is - I do not see anything obvious to prevent me from loading it up and trying it - to be seen how long it lasts - cracked or split necks, loose primer pockets - at this point, I do not know.
