Brass recovery at PRS match?

I thought it was a great idea. seemed to work good for our squad.
It also allowed everyone to move a bit faster between stages.

It wasn't ALL about cost Ryan...

It allowed shooters to move on to the next stage without stalling to collect their brass. I thought it was especially beneficial in this regard.

Before hanging up my MD hat a month ago I have run 8 PRS style matches (not by myself mind you)- none of them as large as Meaford though. At the last SAPRL match 50 shooters with 100 rds ran through 10 stages in about 5 & 1/2 hours.

The traditional style of having squad mates police brass has worked quite fine IME. This is what was done in RLRR as well, I lost an exceptionally high amount of brass in RLRR and was at ~12 out of 200. The others in my squad lost 2-5 if my memory serves.
