I haven't reloaded in quite a while, and I'm gonna be loading 9mms and .223. I need something to clean my cases, and I assume a brass tumbler is the best way? Could someone recommend a good one and where to get it in Canada? Or is theres a better alternative to getting ones brass clean?
Any info would be appreciated.

My Blue Dillon failed (motor had fallen apart) after 5 years so I bought a Lyman Magnum 2500, like it so far. Buy bigger machine then you need today, the capacity is usually overstated.

After 15 years of herculean effort, I managed to wear the bowl of my origional Hornady tumble thin enough to require repair. AFAIK, sbound is still enjoying it today. If my current 10 year old M2 ever wears out in the same pattern, I'll still buy another to replace it.

It easily handles 1500 9mm cases at a shot and is quiet and cool while doing it.

mine was barely 5 years old and since the bowl is made in two pieces and plastic is fused in the middle that joint let go I wrapped a bit of duck tape around it... its been going strong for about a year now like that... btw I called Hornady in the usa for a replacment bowl and they said they dont make that tumbler anymore... however last week they shipped me the same one that broke because I ordered it as an alternate to the frankford.:jerkit:

Nice thing about the frankford is they bowl is one piece sold plastic so it wont crack or split under normal use... its a bit smaller capacity...

Get an industrial rock tumbler and never look back. I hear that regular vibratory tumblers will burn out after a few years of useage, and are not as effective as a rotary tumbler.

This is the one I've got off e-bay. I can tumble wet or dry. I do about 400-450 .223 cases at a time. I thow them in covered in mud/dirt and they'll come out shiny as new after only 2-3 hours.

just got a Lyman twin turbo pack came with the 1200 bowl and the 600 bowl and lids new from wholesale sports $110
used a friend alot before I bought mine and they work great

I've had a Hornady M2 for about the last 8 years that is going strong still.
I often forget about it overnight, and have had zero issues with it.
It was fairly cheap if I recall.

I echo the sentiment that you should go as big as your space or your wallet can afford.
When the M2 dies, I'll likely go with the Dillon big blue one, or an industrial tumbler.
