Brazilian made PUMA lever actions

I was looking at one of these in .357 Magnum. Anyone have any experience with them, good or bad?

I bought my 357 20" stainless carbine seven years and 8000 rounds ago. The little Rossi was my first lever gun (I've four now) and apart from the spring retaining collar on the ejector, nothing has ever failed.

It's a good idea to check all the screws are tightened properly on regular basis, as they can slacken of with use, the loading gate one in particular is prone to this, and will stop the gun from feeding.

I've a 2004 made .44Trapper, 1924 30/30 SRC, and 2006 28" barreled chapparal 76 replica in 45/60. The 1924 Winchester is the best made lever gun i have but the Rossi comes in a respectable second...

Nice little guns,I have had 2 in 45 colt,a friend liked the first one so much he bought it so I had to buy another.No cheezy safeties on either of them.I use it for chickens.

I have a Rossi 92 in .357 mag no external safety. No problems.
