Hello, I am looking for screw in chokes for a Mossberg 500 shotgun. I want to put a breaching choke or ported choke in it but I have no idea where to get one.

Any suggestions? I've looked around quite a bit on the business members websites.

The Mossberg 500 chokes are compatible with the 535 ATS, 930 and the maverick 88

Thanks,

Medic

The problem with thread in ported chokes is indexing it to the gun. When you tighten a threaded choke it's entirely possible that the ports could be in the down position once tightened. Some of the chokes like that, that I have seen have a double thread. You screw the choke tight into the barrel, screw the breaching/ported part in till its indexed correctly, and Loctite it in place. That makes it good for your barrel, but it also means it probably won't work for someone else's barrel. The M305 guys know all to well the problems with indexing their barrels
