Love my CVA Scout in .243. Solid little rifle and you can get wood stocks for them if you hate plastic. Mine is super accurate, ragged hole at 100 yards. Also affordable, I might have $600 into it with the SIG scope. People say they are heavy, but mine might be 7-8lbs with scope, I don't find it heavy at all.

Also have a tc encore barrel 18.5” in 375hh from custom shop with sights that would hit a target at 50m if could get around in chamber. Top of that they wouldn’t sell without a muzzle break ported to user. Total fng disaster from what was ordered. Well brake went into garbage can. Gun shop couldn’t get it off was in shock when I came in will 24” pipe wrench as it did get removed. It was unshootable with break

Turk 20 gauge single shots at cabelas apparently weigh 6 lbs.
You can get single shots in this range or even under in some serious calibers.
You used to be able to get a 24 inch barreled 9.3x74r haenel jager 9 at 2300 grams, just over 5lbs
