Earlier today, at one of my local gunshops, was looking at a new or as new break action; single shot; rifle in .357 Magnum with black synthetic butt stock & foreend. Action & fluted barrel is stainless finish. Had exposed hammer & two piece Weaver type bases for scope that were set into top rear of barrel.

Having a brain-fart now & can't recall the make; model or actual maker. Certainly looked interesting, though.

Can anyone help me out with further info?

I have the Traditions Outfitter G3 in 44 mag and absolutely love it. It is very accurate, light, well built and has a great trigger. It is actually not stainless steel, but cerakoted carbon steel. The CVA Scout is a similar rifle, is available in stainless steel, and also made in Spain, I believe. Either are really great guns. Ellwood Epps just got some more of the Traditions Outfitters in stock in 45-70 and 450BM.

Lothar Walther barrels on these, not sure it makes a lot of difference with pistol cartridges, I'm happy with my 357 and 2.5x Lyman American, not hard hammering a 6" shoot n see target all day with that set up, may try a little higher power scope some day and see if it really shoots groups. I look at it like a 22lr single shot, for slightly bigger #### then 22lr can handle lol

I currently have a Leupold VX3 1.5-5 on mine, but I've also had it configured like this but couldn't get a nice sharp dot with my cataracts so was limited to more or less 50 yards. They've since been fixed and I'm thinking I'll remount the red dot and see how it works out to 100-150 yards...

I had aG2 357. Reamed it to the Max. Shot everything good down to the 38spec wadcutters. Man those things must have been doing 600 fps, talk about quiet.
Put a cheap canadain tire Hunt Shield 1 to 6 scope on it. Matched nicely. Found the scope mount on Amazon
I would still have it but I got my hands on a Henry. No point having the 2 of them, gotta share the fun

Kinda my thing with it too. Like I said, single shot 22 for bigger stuff, 38spl in it is like a mouse fart, kinda like a 22 short or CB, very versatile with bigger holes in stuff lol. Really like it.
