Break Free CLP

Breakfree continues to be in use with the US forces, along with other CLP products that meet the current MilSpec. Like any product or MilSpec,, its formulation or spec will change or be amended over time.

There is a lot of misinformation/disinformation around with respect to CLP and what the military uses (CF and US).

On a semi-related note, anyone know where to get slip2000 in Canada? Militec is nice, yes, but I just wanted to give this other stuff a try. It's supposed to be cat's @ss.

Thanks to a local guy, I now have 2 small bottles of the product, 2 aerosol cans and 2 cans of a foaming type.....all genuine Break-Free. From a Army Surplus store, the products are used by the Canadian Military.
I am on the Glock Talk Forum as well and the Americans rave about the product as it Cleans Lubricates Protects (CLP). It is an amazing product and I use it for all 4 handguns.....IMHO

Also, I noticed some "settling" in the bottom of the liquid so chucked all 6 containers in my Lyman tumbler and voila! another problem taken care of!

The settling is normal. Just throw a small ball bearing into the bottle to act as an agitator.
