Break in procedure

Any suggestions or what is the break in procedure for a Norinco M14?

I did nothing special for mine, and it's still running fine.

Its chrome lined.

Chrome barrel have a pre process to make sure the chrome adheres properly. Once chromed all the imperfections that were missed are cast in stone, as it were. The bullets wont do much to the chrome, thats why chromed barrels last longer.

barrel break-in is debatable in a custom grade benchrest rifle.
I think it is just pure whim to even discuss breaking-in a chinese m14 lol

make sure you clean the brown packing grease and apply generous amount of proper gun grease then proceed on throwing lead downrange
