My buddy at range was breaking in his New Barnard action,Tru-Flyte 30" Jackson trigger.
from Ian Robertson and set in one his stocks, for F/tr class shooting.
He fired 1 shot cleaned did it 5 times and shot a 5 shot group at 300y about 2.5" with blue boxed Federal 180gr
Looking forward to see how his "new style 155gr Sierra's" and mid 40grs of Varget in Lapua cases work out. I will add pic's of targets next week weather permiting.

True-Flyte

How does he like the True Flyte barrel?

How does the price compare to a Krieger?

He had Ian Robertson build him a 6.5x47 lapua with Barnard action that is a dandy didn't win the Nationals last Aug bu tplace well, for first year shooting F class he shot the most V's on new size target, but had some problems at 900m so he got new Barnard with Tru-Flyte 32" 284win will be shooting berger 180gr VLD's, I think he is going to use the 6.5x47 lapua to 600 and the 284win from 800 & 900m.
I have a Barnard action with a 30" Tru-Flyte 1/7 twist to shoot 80s & 90s in F/TR just waiting for ian to bed stock & chamber should be finnished in couple weeks or so. Barrels are $400 if I remember correctly, check with Ian Robertson You can have Tru-Flyte chamber them as well.My freind order a Krieger 1/7 twist same time I did in Oct, mine was here in 1st week of Dec he does not have his yet.

I've been waiting to hear that rifle was done. He spec'ed that rifle out very well.

MP He broke it last Sunday he fired 5 shots cleaning after each shot then shot a 5 shot group at 100y first five shots where in .750" after each cleaning, and second 5 where .600" with factory Winchester ammo I would think the reloads will shrink groups pretty good. His .308 did not like the new 155gr sierra's but man it likes the Bergers one small hole.

looks like everyone is getting their goodies together,i as well just got my stock and barrel in today hope to have it together very soon cant wait hopefully it will like the lapua scenars.
