Lighter! This item is an absolute - must - have for anyone who wants to BBQ in the uplands. With 9 1/8 inch barrels and a length of pull of 5 1/2 inches, the lighter weighs only 5.35 ounces. The balance point is just forward of the nose of the comb, which, oddly enough, suits the one handed shoot - from - the - hip style of operation the lighter was designed for.
In a strange quirk of Canadian gun law, the lighter is not considered a firearm, even though it emits real fire. Photons exit the muzzle at well in excess of 500 FPS. This is a good thing, as the overall length of the gun (15 1/8 inches) would make it restricted, and you could only BBQ at an approved range.
I think my example is defective, as the gun doubles every time you pull the hammer back. Yep, flames come out of both barrels simultaneously! Without even touching the triggers. Reloading is via butane in the butt.
Available at Hub Cigar in Edmonton, a sticker says the importer is "The Nut Man" in Calgary (I kid you not).
The lighter is pictured with a common 4 gauge shell to provide scale.
