Breath easy! Only one .308 bolt action rifle banned today

I'm breathing much easier today, only a single a .308 Winchester was banned today! We can still keep our hunting rifles

The banned rifle was that scary one from video games called the "Accuracy International AX". They also explicitly named it's terrible .50 caliber brother the "Accuracy International AX50" and the only singular "AX" sold in Canada that I'm aware of was the .308 version, like Wolverine used to sell. I didn't know .308 could exceed 10,000 joules of energy!

At last the ranges will be quieter!

ETA: I was channeling some FUDD's I recall from the 90's, when they were discussing the various bans then. Except they were serious in their joy, whereas I am just sad.

You missed one the RPA Quadlock is also on the list. Those pesky DCRA Target Rifle Shooters were so dangerous with their single shot RPA rifles those had to go too.

As mentioned in the precision forum, BAT and Barnard are also on the list. I would suggest people thinking of getting, or owning a custom gun take a look at the list. I am sure a few others may pop up
