How much do you think canadian bren ammo cans with I believe it to be ten (possibly eight whatever it was originally issued with) bren mags inside are worth?

Bought mine about 3 years ago for $100 bucks retail.

Was thinking of converting the mags to fit in a Lee Enfield or Ross. Realized I was not a tin basher, and trying to make the mag function, at the pinned 5 rounds no less, was almost useless. I tried selling them for less than I paid... couldn't.

I gave away half of them to a Surplus Clothing store in Red Deer for their Patt37 display, and relegated the rest to the back corner of the gun room.

... just waiting for a CFC approved Bren to be developed so they can be used again... ;)
 
ok thanks. They were priced alot higher than what you paid to say the least, and I had similar ambitions for fitting the mags to another gun. I guess Ill scap that idea.
 
A friend and I purchased a museum quality box marked to the local armoured regiment about 2 years ago for $300.00. It now sits in the units regimental museum.
