Bren Carrier around Clinton or Likely BC

Hi guys:

Some time ago there was a thread in which a photo was posted of a Bren carrier sitting in some guys front yard in or around Likely or Clinton BC. I've got friends going up here this weekend and the’ve promised me some photos if I can come up with an address. Anyway I’ve done a search of the site but can’t find that thread. Does anyone this forum from around the Clinton / Likely BC area know of this Bren carrier?

Hi Mark

It was on the main street in Clinton, but as of my last trip through it was gone. It was with a group of junkers at an old gaarage not far from the public restrooms. I stopped last year and had a good look at it, as I have friends in Edmonton that restore military vehicles, it was a junker. It was only a shell, no power train or final drives, just a couple of stub axles to hold the sprockets in place. Also most of the armor had been cut away, pretty well all of the interior was gone, looks like it was used as a tracked trailer. The track, sprockets and road wheels were all well worn, not worth the trip to haul it home for parts.
