Great info! Do you know if they ship?
Nope, pretty sure they don't - but their wholesaler has stock.
IIRC Challenger has Brenekke style slugs as well so you're not limited just to Rottweil

They aren't the same, better than Foster slugs but not as good as European Brennekes - I think the European lead is a fair bit harder. Either way they don't penetrate as well, neither do the RIO Brennekes they get in the US.
0faustus0 , good test that i hadn't seen before . I've been sticking with Rotweil Brenneke and Exact Brenneke because they shoot so well in both of my shotguns which are a 14 inch 870 and a Beneli M4 . 4 to 5 inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards and i'm happy with that . I started decades ago with Rotweil Brennekes for shooting bear and i've shot a lot of them with no problems . The 3 inch Rotweil Brennekes started drying up in Canada so i hoarded about 20 boxes with about 4 boxes left . I went to the Exact line but have only shot two deer and two smaller bears with them so they haven't proven themselves to me yet . In case they also dry up i bought 20 boxes of 3 inchers in those . If i could ever find more 3 inch Rotweils i'd buy a couple of cases of them . I haven't tried Challengers but friends have and they were getting worse group sizes at 50 yards than i get at 100 yards .
Actually, the Challenger slugs are Italian Gualandi slugs .... and they penetrate deeper than the Brennekes that we get here in Canada, i.e. Rio Brenneke and the Rottweil Brenneke. The Challenger slug is loaded hotter than the Rio Brenneke or the Rottweil Brenneke.
