That is an interesting-looking piece of kit but, so far as I am aware, it is not a British bandolier pattern (and in any event, since it holds the cartridges in individual loops - requiring single loading - it is not particularly suited to the charger-loaded SMLE used in WWI.)

The standard leather rifle cartridge bandolier used by British and Commonwealth forces in WWI was a component of the Pattern 1903 Equipment, and variants thereof, which accommodated the cartridges in pouches - each pouch holding two five-round chargers of .303 cartridges - in both a bandolier and in sets of pouches worn on a waist-belt -

From what I can see in the pic, the cartridges are in fact in strippers, the nose of each is within a separate loop.

Is it Brit or even Commonwealth issue? I do not know. Custom made for an individual or a trial version?

Still common issue for CAF riflemen :p

Pretty cool, it's a repro/rework/new version?

Rounds are in chargers, lots of chargers.

Price isn't terrible either - C$150 ish.

Might just have to get one
