Hey so i recently purchased one of those P1 Pistols from my local gun store, i found a good deal on some magazines, i was wondering if it was alright getting them shipped from the states, it''s a pistol magazine, and it holds no more then 8 rounds so there should not be an issues right? i understand its a huge no no to import magazines with more then 10 rounds for pistol and 5 rounds for rifle, but if there legal in canada like the p1 mag is, would it be alright to buy from states?

I have done it for my P1. That was before I found out that Trade Ex. Has awesome ones for $35.00. Good luck beating that price with the exchange rate and shipping from the US! Mine was brand new in the original oil paper wrapper from TEC!

Check them out!

Trade Ex has some very good prices and are excellent to deal with. As pointed out, the exchange rate can kill you.

Also, some of the U.S. companies use Fed-Ex or UPS and those companies have a nasty habit of charging you an importing fee, and a $20 item can be an extra $40 from UPS

Technically ok to bring into Canada, the US regulates export of military magazines. So finding a company willing to ship might be a problem. You can drive them
Over no hassles usually.

Technically ok to bring into Canada, but do you not need to be an authorized exporter on the US side to legally get them out of the US? The no hassle part only applies if you don't get stopped by the US guys before making it into Canada.
