All DMRs, regular rifles and pistols. Nothing wrong with that but I suspect this is not a sniper event, more a DMR event re-branded as a sniper event for a good video.

Yes, seems geared toward DMR.

Semi auto's still fill a pretty niche role for snipers. Bolt actions aren't going away anytime soon for the sniper role.

While I was competing at Bisley, the sniper matches were held at the end of Svc Rifle, by multi national teams that were in attendance for AFSAM....The sniper trophy is a Silver Punjabi Soldier, with a couple bases on it...the majority of winners were either Canadian or Ausie. The brits then moved the sniper comp to Oct, so only Brits could compete. This was in the days of the Brit L42....when they changed to the AI platform their scores improved dramaticaly.
