BRNO #4 Scope Rings

On my brno #4 I have the rings that brno makes. The 16mm dovetail is hard to find rings for. I am unsure of any other manufacture's that make rings for this gun but so far I have been happy with the rings that brno makes. Only slight "cons" I can think of is that they are a bit pricey and the allen key that fits them is quite small meaning it is easier to strip them.

I feel your pain

I have had a #4 since March... I have been trying to find rings for it since then... and haven't been able to find them... I've been watching guys post scores in the online matches and haven't been able to play... watch out, they're on the way...

some advice...

Avoid Wholesale Sports...

Also, you may need higher rings than your scope will let on... I have a 32mm objective on my scope, so med rings clear the barrel easily, but the bolt handle keeps hitting the scope so I have had to order high rings instead...

After trying several dealers, P&D finally found me a pair (they are also cheaper than other places I've found... but still more than most rings), but they still haven't arrived... Call them directly (ie don't e-mail)... when I talked to Phil last week, he had a set of Brno rings in stock, so he may have others...

Good luck... I can't wait for my saga to be over when these rings arrive next week...

:D Will do

Not sure if I mentioned this to you or not but I just got a brno #4 with a gaillard barrel. It needs a new chamber and a more benchrest style stock and maybe a better trigger (I have worked on it by polishing, and chaning some things around to get it down to about 8oz) but I think it should be a good shooter.

Yeah. You can get those from Brnomann. They're very nice.

The only downside is that one of my orders he said he sent me twice magically kept getting lost in the mail. Funny how everything else I ordered from the States from lot's of other places always got here.

Like Ross B I would also reccomend the Lynx rings. WS has them in there cat for $42.99. I have them on 2 CZ's and 1 brno and really like them. As stated high rings will clear the bolt handle----Cowboy

These are the rings you need, they fit perfectly, and the fit and finish is excellent. I have a set of old style BRNO rings, but I like these Lynx rings better.

A word of advise though... call them first.... I ordered a pair online and their web site seemed to think they had them... so after 2 weeks of not getting them, I called... they didn't have any in stock and so I placed them on back order... 3 months later, I cancelled my order...

Everyone who has them seems to like them though.
