I've been doing some searching here and there for a wood stock for a barreled action Brno 602, so far things haven't been going all my way. So if any of you gentlemen could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Boyds Mauser large ring. Will need some inletting around the rear tang and mag well, recoil lug, and barrel reciever junction. Did one some time ago and it turned out well. You will not go wrong with a boyds stock for the price and quality you will get. Good luck.
Is that Boyd stock heavier or lighter than the OEM Brno stock?
Thanks for the replies gentlemen. Does that stock have the 8 inch spacing on the action screws and would there be enough wood for the large mag well of the 602.
The mag well/and floor plate will extend beyond the stock by about 1/2". Not unsightly, but obvious. I remember that the action screws will need some inletting, but when propberly bedded it will not matter. Also, the area around the rear cross bolt will need some removal to fit the action. I used the original front metal spacer in the bedding of the front action screw. You will also need to inlet the bolt handle as the mauser stocks do not have this inletted due to the many variations of placements. Depending on the style, the stock weight will be essentially the same. I went with a thumbhole stock on a 338wm and like it. The thumbhole allows for you to really sinch in the butt to your shoulder. Yes, this will take some fiddling.
