Talked to a few people that have em and they shoot great with no problems. The barrel is really thing though.

First you have to remember that they are NOT Brno's. Its the name of the model. They are copys. Last year i bought one in LR. Metal finish was above average and wood work was ok but that where the positive aspect of the one i got stops!! Fail to fire, fail to feed and fail to eject!! I examined it for quit a bite and tried a few stuff but never got it to work half decently. Very poor engineering. One of the thing i ve found out is that the firing pin was positioned to far out and not protubing enough. So very light and far outside stricks. I could go on. I found problems with the mag, extractor , stricker spring...They are expensive, they look good but are crap unless they have sorted out the issues. Who knows...

Well, I took a chance and picked up a PPK BRNO KMS 617, and it functions really well. No FTF/FTE, had a few misfires on the first few mags, but that may have been due to the cold (-25) or the fact that it was a new gun, or both (?). Either way, by the time I got half way through the first box, there were no issues. Accuracy was good at 50 yards, despite the thin barrel profile. I'll have to take it out to 100 to properly check the accuracy. I mounted a Burris E1 Fullfield 3-9x40 on a Mossberg 500 picatinny rail attached to the receiver (I didn't like the strangely sized dovetail that came with the gun so I drilled and tapped the receiver).

Sold it to a guy with much more patience than what i have. Told him about the issues and decided to take it anyway. Of cours i did lost lots of money on this one... Later on when they started to produce a bolt gun, i looked at a video on youtub from a guy shooting the KM22 and even him had trouble cycling the bolt and had fte's. So i really don't trust them anymore. I'll keep my real BRNO.
