Brno no5 value ranges

Like the title says,am looking for value ranges for a BRNO NO 5,1968 from good to excellent condition in checkered stock.

In good-VG in original condition with factory sights I will say $600-$700

I just bought a 1958 delux model (walnut checkered stock) in good to VG condition. I paid $500.
By 1968 these rifles were being made by CZ, usually with Brno components - or so I've been told. If you have the Brno receiver with the 16 mm dovetail. Than I will say $400 to $700. If you have the CZ receiver than 4 to 500. Rimfire Central has a good thread on all the changes to the Brno's.

I had been offered a $1000, 8 years ago and said no. I was at the time and still am able to put a group of 1 1/2 inches with bulk 22. Mine was made in the year of 1974 and still looks like it came out of the box. Do not sell it, since it will become a firearm you would have regarded as "one I should have kept".
