Brno rings

I was able to get a set of Warne Maxima #2B1LM rings - "High" - made for the CZ 527 - if you unscrew the recoil stud, they clamp perfectly onto the 16 mm dovetail on my BRNO No. 1 - made in 1955. I first installed #1B1LM (Medium) and the front objective was nicely clearanced to the barrel, but the bolt handle would hit the eyepiece on a Leupold VX Freedom 2-7x33 rimfire scope, so I had to use the "High" ones. These rings have the lever on the side for "Quick Detach" - I wanted to be able to remove the scope and re-install it without tools, to use the iron sights on the rifle. I would suggest to put your cap in "lock" before going to look at prices for these - pretty healthy!!!

I believe that these are the rings I have on my CZ527 (mine are 30mm) though I don't know whether or not they'd be a match for the BRNO; https://www.gotenda.com/product/leupold-1-riflescope-mount-for-cz-527-medium-matte-black/

As I understand, if they are made to go on a CZ 527, they are made to grab 16 mm dovetail like on a Brno rimfire. But I do not know how Leupold handled the recoil stud - CZ 527 has a notch in the factory rail for a recoil stop - on the Warne rings, that is a screwed in Cap Screw that needs to be removed for using those rings on the 16 mm dovetail rimfires - I do not know how Leupold handled that??

I have bought a set of Genuine CZ made rings from Tradex. Although spendy, they fit just fine on 16mm grooved receivers. They are listed as for a 451 in the scope/mount section of Products
