BRNO Tau-7 with Bushnell TRS-25 Reddot

I just set up my Tau-7 to suit the nearly blind shooter. The Air Venturi Intermount fits the barrel nicely. Still have to play around with the weights to find the perfect balance. If I come across a multiple hole Weaver base, I may reconfigure the mount and move the scope further back.

I think it looks good and solid.
If you move it further back, wouldn't the gate tap on the lens?

Another reason I'd like to move the scope aft, the latch from the gate hits the glass when open in the current position. Moved back, the gate will rest on the tube of the scope.

When I had my TAU7, I though the muzzle was kind of light without the weights on... I'm not sure how much that sight/base combo weights, but I'd be tempted to just move the sight a notch or two closer to the barrel.

Hell ya...without the barrel weights, it's like handling a whip.
