BRNO ZH series

The ones I have tried (about 3 different sets) do not fit with other actions. Some are real close, some not so close.

I just scrolled past a Brno Combo gun, not sure if in the EE or a site sponsor.
It was a 12/12 , 12/7x64R iirc....
Ahh, there is or was one in the EE and the guy is from Powell River BC , up the coast from me.
So, it likely needed some minor fitting at the time or build or they have enough loose tolerance to allow the swapping of barrels.
Not a technical explanation , but there is one and one could pm the seller and ask those questions .

Had one of these, a two barrel set, one set of 12 gauge field barrels, one of .308W/12 ga combo. Later purchased a set of longer 12 gauge trap barrels for it, all barrels fit fine. I had ( and still have) several friends with multiple barrel sets of these guns, interchangeability doesn’t seem to be a problem with these sets. They are built like a tank, just as heavy and just as ugly. An excellent versatile tool.

I’ve owned several and barrels will generally swap between receivers but not always a given and will require fitting. At least twenty years ago I had gotten a couple new barrels from I believe “ London Arms “ who were a CZ distributor. Those barrels required fitting.

My manual for the ZH 300 series lists 15 different barrel options.
301,302,303 are 12 G with different barrel lengths
304 is 7x57R/12G
305 is 5.6x52R/12G
306 is 5.6x50Rmag/12
307 is .22 Hornet/12
308 is 7x65R/12
309 is 8x57 JRS/12
321 is 16/16
324 is 7x57R/16
328 is 7x65R/16
344 is 7x57R/7x57R
348 is 7x65R/7x65R
8x57 JRS/8x57 JRS

I have the 301 and 304 and they are interchangeable.

Hope this helps.
