Hey guys, I just inherited a BRNO Model ZKK 601 in 223rem. The wood is still in really nice shape and bore looks like it hasn't been fired or just really well maintained. I dont know too much about them I was wondering if anyone knew what they were worth?

$600-$1000, depends on age (Actual Brno or CZ made?) and condition. I sold a ZKK600 in 30-06 with a missing bolt for $500, replacement bolt would have been another $300 +smithing to install and set head space and it was still worth $500 to the buyer.

Depending on condition, $500-$1100. Also, if the rifle has scope rings for the special receiver mount is another issue.

Another thing, they have 1-14 twist rate barrels and won't stabilize bullets that are longer than 55grain boat tails. They usually will stabilize the 62 grain flat base bullets as well but nothing longer.

They are also extremely accurate, if they're kept clean.

The stocks are of a light grained but straight walnut of some sort.

The trigger is not so much a "set" trigger as much as it is a two stage incremental trigger that eases the let off in a very crisp manner as the overtrigger is depressed.

Your rifle shouldn't have the pop up rear sight mentioned above.

Nice rifles overall and priced accordingly.

Thank you for the information. You are right it does have the fixed rear sight. Not too sure of the manufacturer date but it is stamped Made in Czechoslovakia, serial number 43477. I will post some pictures later on when I get home.

As others have said, depends quite a bit on condition.

Tradeex has 3 in the more common cal's, all listed in v good condition:
.308 win $750
30-06 $795
.222 $795

I have one and it is accurate and has a nice piece of walnut on it.

MS, that ad doesn't give a pic or a description of condition. Basically a pig in a poke.

I recently sold one at a local gun show for $900 and there were 3 different people that were seriously bargaining on it. I listed it at $1100 because it is minty. That isn't an unusual price for a minty piece in BC.
