hello

I just purchased a Brno ZKW 465 in 22x36 HO( 22 hornet)
I would like to know the date of manufacture ....serial #012**
would this rifle have a .223 or a .224 bore
I also need to know what type of rings to get as the receiver is dovetailed ( I believe 16 mm)
any and all help would be great

Thanks for your time
Richard

Friend of mine has the same rifle. Uses .224 bullets no problem. Use CZ rings for the 527 if I remember right. You just have to remove the locating tab off the one ring. Wolverine stocks them.

Had Millet rings on mine - worked pretty good. I was shooting .223 45 grainers through it, but it was a post WW@ model and apparently they're .224... I have an Anshutz now, but am still using the .223's just to use them up, I don't think it's as big an issue as some on the internet make it out to be.

Thanks for all the info. Is it still possible to get a sight hood for this gun??
I stripped and cleaned the gun when I got it ,its mint. There is no wear bluing and wood 99%.I even got a lot of reloads with it that were loaded in 1975 according to whats written on the boxes. This gun has sat since or before then.

the year is usual stamped right where the barrel meets the reciever(mine is a 49 also) and i'm pretty sure that most rings for the cz 527 will work.
I have found they love the 40 gr varmegeddon bullets with hogdon lil gun is a great combination. happy shooting
