I came across a BRNO #1 yesterday but it's missing the bolt and magazine. It's in good shape and has beautiful wood. Haven't bought it yet pending the availability of the bolt. Any leads as to finding one? TIA.

How much is it going for? Mags are easy to come buy, bolts , not so easy. Try Western Gun parts, or go on Rimfire Central and look up a guy named brnoman, he is in the USA but may be able to help

I bought a number 1 from a fellow in Vancouver that was an estate sale and just had the barrel and stock, about a month later he had found the bolt and mag, one of the sweetest gun deals that has come my way. FS

Denny on rimfirecentral site is a former employee of BRNO and went back before they tore the factory down and bought all he could, I have delt with him and he ussally sends you the parts even before he recieves payment! He said to me if you can't trust a gun guy who can you trust! Just found his email ajukubec@aol.com, Dale in T-Bay, hope this helps, or if you want a hole #1 action I have one for sale!

+1 he is excellent to deal with. I bought some nice peeps for my #4.

BTW what is it with missing BRNO bolts? Every time I have one at a gun show, people come up to me and warn me to watch out for bolt thieves.
