Always enjoy your perspective Jason. Your thoughtfulness, thoroughness and narration. A gentleman’s gentleman. Cheers from Ontario. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Congrats Brobee, great shooting as always. Love how thoroughly you prepare when you get ready to hunt with non typical firearms, I’ve done some slug shooting with a tac14 clone but have only hunted grouse with it and birdshot. It worked well within my range limits.
Very impressive Brobee. I believe you also have experience with a Tac 14? Have you hunted with one or do you stay with a Shockwave?
I'm just curious about your preferred gun.
Sorry, not trying to be nosy but rather am interested.

Yes! Have hunted a lot with the tac14 too (even have a crow hunting episode my daughter and I made a couple of years back, as well as a skeet shooting one, both featuring the tac14). Unfortunately, both my tac14s experienced shot-loose shell latches and interrupters, as well as one un-pinned ejector. Unimpressed at having to use special tools to re-stake them, I retired both guns in favor of the shockwave. Most disappointing was that neither gun was based on an express…one was a marine mag and the other was a police build. I like that in the 590 world all these parts are user replaceable with next-to-no tools. All my shockwave builds are now reasonably high round count with no issues.
To everyone else, thank you very much for your kind and encouraging comments!
