Broke a Lee RGB decapper from a full sizer die w/ decapper. Replacements?

Is it possible to get replacements for just the decapper for the combolee RGB full sizer dies with decappers? or just better off buying a new one all together?

Didn't lube enough, and took a swing too many at the decapper pin and the primer push part of it hit the case and snapped off...

Get hold of RGB warranty dept...they will probably send parts free

I did the same thing about two years ago. I emailed lee with the pin size (mine was 30-06) and my address. They sent a new one out to me no questions asked. It did take a while as it was mailed from the states but I did get it. ( tip: while you are waiting grind the tip off one of those really cheap silver watch screwdrivers that come in sets of 5. Find the one that just fits the flash hole and use a hammer to decap. Once you have the primer out you can run it through the die to resize as the expander is still on the decap pin and works just fine. This should keep you going until the new pin arrives.)

The RGB stands for "regularly gets broken" and lee should replace for free.

Next time loosen off the collet a quarter turn or so, it'll just slide up then.

Funny thing, I've never broken a LEE decapper. That's why I got rid of the rest of the "brand name's".

Lee will replace it. RGB are the same as the regular dies, they just don't include as much stuff in the box with them, no dipper, shell holder, Factory crimp die. You get the same 2 parts everyone else sells for $50 (FL sizer and Seater)

I've broken two decapper pins now. The pin has gotten stuck in the S&B 9mm casings and was ripped right out of its collet. After the second break, I got fed up and got my punch, hammered the sucker out, hammered it back into the collet, and it's worked flawlessly since then.

s&b have a marginally smaller hole than most 9mm- change your brass -you're not the first to complain about s#b

Still, S&B has come a long way, even if their flash-holes are a bit small.

Several years ago, we had a shoot at the local range. As usual, I was scrounging brass and anything unusual. Picked up S&B Berdan-primed 9mm brass with 1, 2, 3 and 4 flash-holes.... outta the same box of 25 rounds!

And people thought I was silly with my handloads.
