Broke one of the SVT-40 magazines I ordered from Westrifle while I was fussing with it while trying to get it to fit & feed properly.

Essentially, I was looking at different ways of repositioning the lugs so the rim of the cartridge would be high enough for the bolt to catch & feed.

Long story short, the internal horizontal plate on which the rounds rest became separated from the vertical plate that guides things up and down.

I have to find a way to reattach the two plates. I'm thinking JB Weld or some type of epoxy.

Advice, hints, comments... all are welcome.

I can even take a pic of the pieces tonite to show you what I broke. Right now all I have is a bunch of pieces in a Ziploc baggy. :(

P.S. If anyone wants to give me advice on how to reposition the lugs as well, that would be appreciated.

Comrad! This is most unfortunate problem! How will you make thunderous boom of 7.62x54mmR ammunition to frighten away imperialist dogs from the motherland?

If you know someone who can weld it, that would be best, but maybe small pop rivets would work if you can't get it welded.
