Hey Guys,
Im trying to work on a mag design for the 10/22. I would like to know if anyone has any broken 10/22 mags they would be willing to get rid of for free. they dont need to function but if they are all there it would be appreciated. I am particularly interested in getting my hands on a couple buttler creek 10 rounders. Let me know if you got any.. thanks
 
I tried something similar a month back. Didn't have any luck either. I ended up looking into my mag mod with my working mags.

I suspect the mag shortage has people uninterested in parting with any mag functional or not.

I've never even heard of a factory one breaking .
I'm going on about 4000 rounds on my factory 10 rounder and my two Butler Creek steel lips and they are all A-OK .

If I had a broken one , I'd gladly donate it .

The OP is not asking for "factory", but for any mag, and he is particularly interested in the Butler Creek 10 rounders.
 
I dont care if it is a factory one or the Butler creek ones. just one that has possibly started to give someone grief and they are ready to toss in the garbage. I know some guys have issues with the hotlips wearing out and then the mags are garbage.. i dunno cause i have all steel lips. It may be a lost cause trying to get someone to give up broken mags but its worth a try.. if no one has any soon i guess i will have to sacrifice a perfectly good steel lips :(
