Broken brass in 7.92 Kurz

Does anyone in Canada sell BROKEN shell extractors for 7.92 kurz? Phoned Marstar and they didnt have any . Will a 7.62x39 remover work? And anyone got a line on empty brass for these?. Thanks

8mm mauser extractor should work in a pinch. Worth a try anyway. The 7.62x39 one might not grab the case neck as its smaller diameter than the 8mm. You also may want to try a 9mm Sten/Sterling SMG ruptured case extractor, (looks like a L shape pliers). They will also work.

Yep. I have used it to remove .308 stuck brass

An 8mm extractor might work if you don't fully chamber it... overchambering would probably wedge it in there too. I'm thinking of the same type extractors as you get with .303 cartridge style extractors though.

well 1st try and push it out with a wood dowl maybe cool the gun down 1st

for the 1919 guys in the us have used a tap drill the end of case (if still there) and thread a tap in and pull it out (be very carfull if you do that)

It's a rare case that can't be removed by putting a brass cleaning brush on a cleaning rod, starting it into the chamber and then, once the bristles are in good contact with the case, quickly jerking the brush out backward.
