Broken case in JR Carbine

Hey all,

I have broken off a case in the chamber of my carbine. Is there a way to get it out? Or will I need a special tool! It's a .40 S&W reload if it matters.

I broke off a case in my 9mm JR , stuck a wood dowel down the pipe and out it came, chamber is tappered , so once it moves a little , it'll fall out.
