Hey all, i think i got a good question for you guys.
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this sort of question, but here is my story anyways.
I have a CZ 858 non restricted rifle that has more or less, deceased.
I've only shot the thing about a handful of times, and the pin that holds the trigger mechanism in place (that nub that sits right next to the safety) has essentially popped out of the gun and refuses to stay inside. i've tried even putting JB Weld adhesive on the pin in hopes that it will keep the pin in place, and it works for a couple of shots, but then it just pops out again. Now im going to see a smith about it hopefully tommorow, but to be honest i can't see what a smith can possibly do that i haven't tried already. I wish i had pics to show you guys what i'm talking about but unfortunately i don't have access to a camera right now.
Now heres the question:
In the event that the smith is unable to do anything to fix the rifle, what do you do with a broken gun? how do you dispose of a broken gun that you don't want anymore? Is there some kind of procedure or number i can call that can safely and legally take the thing off my hands?
Thanks again guys.
