Hi All,

I use a 6PPC Lee Collet Die to resize my 6mmBR brass.

I recently broke the decaping mandrel. Looking on the Lee site it looks like they are discontinued. Cabela's doesn't carry them any more. I can't find them anywhere...

Any idea where to get another decaping mandrel? I'll probably buy 3...

Thanks,

Barry

Calling Lee is probably the easiest route, they may well have a decapping for another die that will also work in yours.

Another route is to just use a universal decapper, Higginson Powder has them in stock.

Or, you could always have one made from drill rod by anyone with a lathe.

Now that a spare is on the way, the replacement won't break.....

That's how it works. A few years ago I broke the decapping pin on a Lee .303 British die so I ordered a few from the company and threw in a bunch for the other calibres I load. Didn't cost me a horrendous amount but it was still money.

Number of pins broken since that: 0.
