broken Mauser lo-swing safety

Received one of my Husky 640 Mausers from Tradeex today. After fondling it and admiring the balance of the schnabel stock, I decided to dismantle it. While rotating the safety to 'safe' to pull out the firing pin assembly the lever snapped with little effort. So, I need a new one.

Looking to replace it with a Timney Buehler-style lever.

The original was like this Dayton Traister

Now, does the Buehler style safety require the same modification as the Dayton? As in, will it fit without further modification?

Is there a retailer in Canada that stocks this item, or something similar? I prefer to buy within Canada, but I will buy one from Brownell's as a last resort.

The DT's are made of sintered metal and (secured?) in the bolt shroud by a nylon friction pin. Not worthy IMO.

Buehler is much superior, real steel and screw secured.
If you have the standard Husqvarna cocking piece, it should bolt right up (use loctite on the screw).

If you have a M96 action with a DT ####-on-closing kit c/p, you may need to fiddle with it to get the Buehler to function. That safety notch is soft metal and wears quickly.
