I have a new out of the box Tasco World Class 6X24 that I mounted on my Savage .308 and had it to the range just once. After geting it sighted in, I wanted to fine tune it and I noticed my L-R was clicking at 1/8 adjustment like it should, but when I turned my UP-Down adjustment it will just turn after clicking a couple of times. Is there a fix I can do or is this a warranty job....?
If I screw with it, they will most likely void the warranty...
Any suggestions?

Sent it back, I think it is the same repair center as Bushnell now.The irony of that is just sickening.:rolleyes: Tasco doesn't make scopes and never has. The only thing they have is a distribution system and a logo to put on whatever junk they think they can peddle. There are a lot of "Branders" out there, just as there is a lot of junk.
There are no bargains in optics, but it seems that everyone has to learn this for themselves.

*edit to add: Since the scope is brand new, perhaps the dealer will help you out with an exchange. At least you wouldn't have to wait to shoot your rifle. I would definitely consider exchanging it for something better though. Maybe you can be the one person who can learn this lesson without taking a kick in the wallet?;)

I dumped 3 of those for 100 bucks each after I finally realized that a warranty isn't enough. I still have one on my 10 year olds .243 if someone wants it for $220. ;) Offers? Besides a 3-9 is an odd replacement for a 6-24x. I had a 4200 6-24 that sh*t itself on a .22 Target rifle. I got $325 for that one, which incidently is 80% of wholesale price. Quite the markup.:runaway:
