It is nothing more than double sided carpet tape. I have had two left hand grip panels break so far. They seem to be weaker than the panel with the shorter wider slide lock.
I taped the right grip panel on and intend to keep it on even for cleaning. I'll remove only the left panel with the cut-out for the lanyard loop. It is stuck well onto the grip frame and doesn't budge. Remember the panel drops into the cut-out of the frame so that also helps keep it in place.
It is an easy fix and doesn't require tracking down expensive and difficult to find (and in stock) units.

Do you know what kind of plastic it is? Mine cracked slightly, but didn't fully fall apart. I was thinking of trying to get some MEK (methyl ethyl ketone, iirc) to flow in there and weld it back together, if it's the type of plastic that works on. I've heard dichloromethane works, too, for the same sort of purpose.

Not much to show. I just decided to do all the right hand grip panels on my beloved Tokarevs including my 1942 Soviet Army pistol. That way there will never be an issue with a broken panel locking arm. The original CCCP WWII grip panel would be difficult to replace.

Not really. What color do you want? And they ship to Canada. :D
Buy a couple sets of these and put your originals away.
