So I'll admit, I don't use the safety on my remington that often. Today, during a cleaning of the rifle I went to manipulate the safety, and something is definitely wrong. the safety is VERY sloppy from left to right. It seems to still be engaged when moving the safety forward and back however and it seems to still actually put the trigger on safe and pulling the trigger does not result in the hammer being dropped.

Has anyone else had any problems with the safety on their triggertech? I have no idea what the warranty is on this thing, has anyone had to RMA one? how much of a hassle am I looking at?

Thanks for the video. If you take the stock off, you should be able to tighten the screw on the safety. If you can take the screw out and take a picture of it for our records that would be great.

You can send it back to us and we can fix it for you (i.e. new screw and Loctite) and refund you for shipping.

Let me know what you would prefer. There is nothing functionally wrong with the inside of the trigger, it looks like the safety screw has unwound. First we've seen.

so I've got to decide what I want to do, I suspect I'll most likely fix it myself, but the idea of screwing with a trigger has me a little nervous.

I appreciate the irony of your posts and sig line.

If you're uncomfortable with mechanics, pop it in an envelope and send it away. TT will ensure you're taken care of.

Otherwise, a few minutes with some methyl hydrate and loctite should work wonders.

These guys are going to be good news for the sport up here.

Hi,

Feel free to send it along to us to fix up. We can send you a replacement as well, whatever makes you more comfortable. There's nothing wrong with the inside of the trigger, it is the exterior screw that holds the lever on and it fits to the outside like a puzzle piece. It is the loctite that failed to bind the screw in.

Cheers,

TT

Thank-you TT for explaining the problem and fix.

Do you ever see adding different shoe options?..like narrower ones..
