Came across this....it's available for me to purchase. Would appreciate if you could give me a fair market value for this piece. I haven't the faintest clue what this might be worth.

Bluing is basically absent with the exception of traces in protected areas. Bore is decent.

Matching numbers as far as I could tell but I did not dis-assemble.

I don't know if the stock is a reproduction but as you can see it's got a large crack and is not numbers matching.

Thanks.

The markings on the safety (the NS) puts it in the time span as a war time production pistol. There's a boat load of info to search up with nothing but a serial number and features to date the pistol and maybe glean some of it's history.

But yeah, with the non matching stock and matching numbers, probably 2 grand plus.

With virtually no bluing left this piece would start at $1500.....seriously?

There is one selling at auction this Friday with the barrel and chamber blown completely off like a banana peel and has crazy pitting on it, already over $500 once premium and taxes are applied. That's almost the price I paid for my complete matching numbers just 2 years ago.

See the horror for yourself.....

That's called a parts kit.... :)

What are the 9mm broomhandles going for these days?
There is a Red 9 in the sale as well, bluing a bit better than the one in OP but with no stock, currently at just over $3000 with premiums and taxes. Seems like they usually bring about a 15-25% extra than the equivalent in 7.63, obviously both have varying prices depending on numbers, bluing, stock yes or no, repro stock, original stock - matching or not, etc etc
