The Kokoda thread (great movie btw).

Got me wondering if anyone else has seen "Brotherhood of war".

It is a Korean Movie and its realism challenges Saving Private Ryan.

M1 Garands
M1 Carbines
1919
BARs
Mossin
PSH43s
DP-27s abound.

I have been searching for an English Sub'd one for about a year.

About halfway through now.................WOW! It certainly takes some of the "glory" out of war.

Yes I did some 3-4 years ago.....
Took me awhile to find it here after seeing the movie poster while I was on the other side of the big pond.

Great movie and nobody or almost heard about it because it was not made in USA most likely.
Politics pretty well depicted and many combat scenes in trenches are more realistic than what we often see elsewhere.
Lots of M1 Garands!!!!!!

great flic - I have both subbed and dubbed, the subbed is far superior with much better surround sound. The special effects are amazing - (watch for the corsair crash, put it on slow mo):)
 
I just finished it.

WOW!
Incredible flick!

I was going to post something about the F4U crash.....amazing CG to say the least.

Gonna have to try it in slow mo.
 
Watching another new one for me.

"A hill in Korea" 1956

Basic story........4 guys with BRENs holding off hundreds of Chinese in the Korean war from the top of a hill.

Not a bad flick.
