It was my wife who originally fell in love with it on the internet, specifically because it was a replica of the original and not due to the size since we never saw it in person. She tried GSG and Colt (Walther) on for size and even though she liked the Colt, we decided to wait for the Browning.
After getting it, I too fell in love with the little .22, lots of fun. I own too many full sized 1911s as is.
