Browing BLR clip

hello , i just picked up a Browning BLR in .308 with a bunch of other guns in a package deal The clip is missing and am looking for help in finding a new one or two.Is there anything i would need to know, did the clips change with different productions?
The gun i s in very good condition with only a few marks on the wood but the blueing is great,any ideas what it may be worth?

New factory BLR mags will run you $70-$80 each. Gunnar at Armco may have some used ones in stock.

Depends on if it is a new or old style BLR and the action length.

action length 308 blr 81 fits flush with the bottom of the receiver and pre 81 extends below the bottom of the receiver those are the only considerations

I know of a pre 81 clip that was sold for $150. You can get them cheaper but you are still looking at $100+

The Serial # will tell what vintage BLR you have. If it is a 1969-75 and has a K in the sn it is a BLR.
1976-97 a BLR will have 127 as the last 3 #s
A BR 81 will have 227 as the last 3#s
A Lightning will have 341 an the last 3#s
