Just bought a 1728 transitional Brown Bess from Loyalest Arms. The Bore size is 76 cal has the steel ramrod and brass nose piece. Comes with frizzen stall, 1 .735 ball and a 1 inch flint. Will send pictures and a report when I get the piece.
Plan on shooting PRB and or shot as a Fowler.

Loyalist longland locks are some of the sparkiest locks Ive even seen, Things are large!! Wonderful musket, im sure you will LOVE it.
Thanks looken foreward to it. Plan on getting some ball molds for .230 size shot for upland game brids and such. Have a 20MM arch punch coming from Burttans Village Leather works up in the great state of Mane for cutting my over powder wads and over shot wads using 1/8 inch Duro Felt material. Was wondering if anyone had any idea about what weight of .230 size shot I should load over 90-100 grains of 2F? as for the 735 rb i plan to patch with ,010 cotton wich will give me a ball with a total diameter in the bore of.755 just .005 smaller than .760 should go down easy and come out accurate.
